Lucía Herreras Martínez has worked for the WEEE sector as a consultant and auditor since 2003. In 2013 she joined the WEEE Forum as Technical Director. The WEEE Forum is an international association of WEEE SIGs with 35 associate members in 28 countries. This non-profit, Brussels-based association has been promoting the circular economy and helping its members share ideas and knowledge to achieve excellence in their activities since 2002. The WEEE Forum has been and is involved in key projects such as the WEEELABEX project or the Countering WEEE Illegal Trade project and actively contributes to the international debate on WEEE management.
